UltraViolet Computer Program

I think I may have found something sorta related to RV never touched on in this forum, or something like that. Anyway I searched and couldn't find any mention of it anywhere.

I have about a dozen movies I purchased through Verizon which has sold my account to Frontier. I would like to download the movies to a memory device like an SD card so that I could watch them on my tablet, which I cast to my TV. I would like to do it from a memory card, in case I do not have an internet connection. Also, when I go full time this December, I will lose my Frontier TV.

I have found a computer program called UltraViolet that looks like it may do this.

My questions are does anybody have any experience with UltraViolet or other similar programs?

Will UltraViolet work with Frontier?

If there are other similar programs, any recommendations?

Any comments would appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think it will work with Frontier. All the companies mentioned on the website are studios that support it; not providers.

In addition on the "where to get" page it mentions that you can buy an UltraViolet supported DVD or blu-ray there will be a code included to allow you to add that item to your UV library.

I think what you're really looking for is something to let you download the file and strip off the DRM from the file(s). Of course that kind of thing is highly "frowned" upon by the different providers but usually can be found.

I guess I should've guessed with "Geek" in your name that this would be something you would know something about.
