We have the Garmin 770..have depended on Garmin for many years !

I will say that Google Maps has sent me on a couple of wild goose chases. The nav in the radio is specifically for trucks and RVs so there should be an advantage to using it, we'll see.

Lots of options...always use 2 or more sources. "The prudent navigator will never rely on a single source of information". I use Google Maps, Google Aerial Views, Ford Sync Navigation...but most of all...the Garmin 770-RV programed to the specifics of the MH. It has saved me several times already. I use the dash GPS for more of an indication of where I am and what streets are coming up. The Garmin is my Bible for distant navigation.

I agree with you 100% ! We have the Garmin 770 .. for general directional information...and the hazards regarding the MH.
However,...my iPad is on Google Maps most of the trip...when it comes to exactly where to turn...and I can zoom on my screen...and know exactly how soon this turn is coming up...Google is essential for me....the navigator.
I know there are many folks who do not agree with the Google Map advantage...however, it has not failed me...unless we are in an area with no signal. Then the Garmin is totally our go to map.

My Garmin 770 has failed me twice. I caught it the first time (tried to route us 75 miles out of our way because it thought there was a 10,000 lbs rated bridge on I70 - I don’t think so!). Other time it got me - sent me down a muddy dirt road, at night, in a rain storm, on a Friday, in rural Georgia a good 10 miles from where I needed to be. I learned to double check everything and then look at a paper map! Nevertheless I consider my “lady in the box” to be an essential travel companion.

Yep...I always do Aerial Views ahead of us of anything off the beaten path...especially when towing. Biggest concern is overhead clearance. If I see something that may cause a problem, I switch over to Street View and look at road signs, etc. This eliminated a fuel stop once, as I was able to see the number on the canopy...10' 6". It also eliminated an elevated RR Crossing where jacks and bottom on coach would have hit.

I also agree with The Gritz Carlton. I have the AVN82Nav and tried it out on my current trip. I ran it side by side with CoPilot RV on my Ipad. they both gave me the same directions. (I also confirmed it with a Rand Mcnally Truck atlas) I set up the AVN82 Nav using the Bus profile and adjusted the parameters for my size, weight and height. Seemed to work well. But that is just one trip so I will keep testing it versus the CoPilot RV and see what happens.

One would have thought that the dealer would have done this right away.

When I picked up my new Aria, I discovered that it was missing the SD card with the map. Tech scurried away and returned with a card. I have since updated the firmware and downloaded the latest map.

This was at Camping World St. Augustine what I didn't catch was that the front BluRay player was missing. Finally got a new one.

My Outlaw was also missing it's player.
It took a while for Thor to relent, and replace it.

The best "Free Parts Store" in the country...they all sit there, all day, unlocked...salesgoobers don't want to walk the lot until the see the wife drool...needy owners do their "parts shopping" in broad daylight.

Also a bathroom! Our coach’s toilet had frozen urine in it when we looked at it. Sales person said it happens all the time with customers poking around in he lot and not wanting to go back to the showroom when they need to go. He said one time they even found “the other kind” in a camper! Some folks are amazing.

Many dealers at too lazy to lock all of them up at night. The dealer we purchased from had a problem once with homeless people sleeping in them at night.
