I don't have the physics expertise to run the math; but living in hurricane country we see first hand the power of water in motion. Reflecting back on our return from Florence evacuation last September is what made me think to look up the thread and ask the question.

Hooah! Same time frame & a bit longer, plus survivin an attempt by Army to force me back for the surge - weeks of paperwork & finally only 3 days of active duty before they spit me back out - luckilly for the young troopers who woulda relied on me outside the wire as a 100% dav! But I kept tellin them I was more than willin to reup voluntarily to serve stateside to enable some able young troop to deploy - they told me all the critical mos's they unsuccessfully tried to haul back said the same thing, but the powers that be at DOD & pentagon couldn't see the logic in that! I think they're done w/me now, though they said the new policy for crit mos's is age 55 or the good of the Army & didn't matter if service disabled, if they broke me they could take me (in other words, indefinitely, lol!)! Now our no expiration date Oath takes on new meaning for me
