Windsport entry door awning

Ok got a 2015 Thor Windsport 27K has a entry door Awnig the works manual
By pulling on the strap don have a handle or anywhere to hook or tied the strap so stays out
Can’t figure out how it’s supposed to work the service guy at LA Mesa RV
Had no idea either and that’s where I Purchase the unit

If you look at the legs you'll see locking mechanisms that have a part that slides up to unlock. Once both sides are unlocked, pull the strap with the standard awning pull rod to open it. Hold it open and lift the folding arms out that engage with the brackets on the MH to hold the awning open.

Can someone post a picture please? I have the same problem, can't figure out how to keep it extended.
