Winterizing holding tanks

Is there a procedure to winterize black and gray holding tanks in a Thor compass 23tk rv? Thanks in advance for any help.

I believe they just need to be emptied. I would recommend good rinse or three also.

I agree: frozen poop is rather unattractive...

Overseas...they used to have some plastic dog poo you could buy. Good for a laugh when we were young.

When you are winterizing the coach simply pour some leftover antifreeze in all the traps. Just make sure that you pour enough to get some in the tanks. I also make sure the toilet bowl has a few inches of antifreeze in it.

Make sure they are as clean as you can and pour antifreeze in them. Way I look at is antifreeze is cheap compared to replacing parts so the more the merrier
