Crewed an A-10. Loved that bird. Can't wait to see it again.

Out here hearing the 16s and 15s flying overhead brings back fantastic memories. A few helicopter gun ships passed by. A salute to our Brethren in the army.

Took a school group to Whiteman a year ago. A10s and B2s. That's quite a cannon on the A10.

The Men and Woman who keep this country safe and allow people like us to do what we do deserve credit. Hopefully, they are at liberty to follow in our footsteps - if that's what they choose. Until then, be thankful for them and the situation they place themselves in. Honor them when and if you get the chance. If all hell breaks loose, they're called upon to lose their lives. You can't compare that.

I know which side I'm on. I'd go back in a NY second if they'd have me.

Omg! 1st Cav loves A-10s (& their crews)! always amazed me how agile such a big unwieldy lookin bird was & how on the ground it always felt like they had "snuck up" on us, didn't hear their awesome roar (in comparison to other fixed wing) till they were already comin over our heads
