Deadwood

Anyone have a suggestion for CG's in the Deadwood, South Dakota area? I see several listed. Needing good pull through for a week's stay. Thanks in advance.

The MT Rushmore KOA is a really nice Campground with a lot to offer....It is in a great location to a lot of things in the Black Hills...It is 43 miles from Deadwood, minutes from MT Rushmore, Custer State Park where the Buffalo begging Donkies roam, Keystone.... It was our favorite Campground when we were stationed in SD...

The Deadwood KOA is great! Free shuttle to downtown Deadwood. Nice people as well. Highly recommend it!!!

Thanks Tony&Sheryl, I will check them out. Attending a Trike rally in Deadwood so we may concentrate on CG's a little closer, but who knows what we will find or end up with.

Keith, I thought when I checked their site they didn't have long pull through sites but I will look again. Thanks for suggestion.

We stayed at Rushmore Shadows KOA last summer, and it is a great place for kids. They have stables there and a restaurant, and they rent 4 wheelers. We didn't utilize any of that. There was constant traffic and lots of dust.

Without the kids, we moved to Rushmore Shadows closer to Rapid City. Much, much quieter and much more space between rigs. Both are fairly close to all the attractions, but give you a very different experience.

One of our favorite drives in the US is the road along Spearfish Canyon. If you do that, stop and view the 3 waterfalls on both sides of the road.

Thanks for the information. I will save it for reference also. We may target a CG a little closer to Deadwood for the full week we are attending the rally there, but Rushmore Shadows does sound nice.

My wife has some film footage she claims was accidentally taken of those Donkeys when one was in an amours mood. He had a reason to be smiling. I think he was winking at her ???
