First Trip Complete
Our first trip was a Vancouver to Calgary return trip. Making our initial trip through the Canadian Rocky Mountains was a bold choice. Here are a few observations.
Hookups, dumping, camp setup and tear down was simple.
A V10 reving at 4800 rpm through the mountain passes took some getting use to. However the ACE handled well. The CHF will not be enough to satisfy my handling expectations.
The front side windows rattle a lot.
There was a periodic hollow clunk noise from under the passenger side dash.
I caught the tv antenna on a low branch. I pulled the internal handle off messing around with it after. This could be a good excuse for an upgrade.
I didn’t pin the pantry door and now have a handle sized hole in the opposite closet door.
Seats are comfortable for about three hours, then my bum and legs get sore.
