Drove in to St John, NB Canada today. Beautiful old city but narrow streets in the historic district and motor homes don't mix well. Also, no place to park. So, headed to St Martian, on the Bay of Fundy. Another historic old and beautiful city. Found ice cream shop there so we had to check out their goodies. Pictured are beached boats in St Martain, from infamous Bay of Fundy extreme tide changes. One of two covered bridges there. Also, ever faithful Louie, helping me work thru a cup of very good ice cream. 🤗

Too bad you couldn’t park. St. John has a free RV lot, however when we were there on 1 June it was under repair. So they put us in an alternate lot quite always from the shopping district. While we were walking back from the log, we noticed that there as plenty of on street parking on Sydney Street quite near the shopping district where we could have parked our Axis.

Noticed the free dry camp lot at tourist info building AFTER we’d paid for 2 nights at the Harding’s Point Good Sam campground next to ferry docks. Oh well, DW wanted to do laundry anyway.

Made it to Prince Edward Island earlier today. Haven't seen much yet but plan to tour next couple of days. Bridge from mainland over to here a lot like 7 mile br in FL Keys except no islands with this one. No toll to get on PEI but motor home costs about $20 to get off.

Save your Canadian pennies (they actually don’t exist any more). The toll to get off the island is $47. But that’s Canadian, so the US cost is around $32. Well worth it.

Thanks for the correction. Was driving when I saw tolls sign but only saw amount for motorcycles @ $13, so was guessing when I said $20. Maybe wishful thinking. Will break this news to the DW...she’ll have to cook one more night than she’d planned to, so we can get home. Us Florida Crackers wouldn’t survive winter up here!

Right. We are out if here in October when it gets cold. Problem is, it is still too hot in south Florida to go home. Have to spend some time in the Smokies.
