I 95 Through South Carolina

I had heard that there had been some lane closures on I95 in South Carolina as a result of flood damage from the last hurricane that rumbled through in the Fall .
Does anyone know if the repairs have been completed and the lanes reopened ?
We are leaving for Disney on 1/13 and had planned to go straight down I95 as we usually do.
I tried to google it but SCDOT didn't answer the question, thought someone here may have been through there recently ...

Pete

We traveled from Tampa to Suffolk VA over Thanksgiving. Came back through SC on I95 in early Dec and there were no lane closures then. Don't know about now.

We travel I95 from Tampa to PA, VA, and MD about 2 or 3 times a year to visit family. I always thought that I95 through SC was the worse part of the trip. It is rough, potholed, terrible expansion seams, and uneven surfaces -- and that was before the flooding this past summer.

I95 through SC

Just returned this evening from Irmo, SC. I26 to I95 and then south to I4 in Florida. No closures but rough.

I went through Thanksgiving time
There was still lots of visible damage....downed trees that were cut just off the edge of the pavement and looked dangerous to me....
and some downed and damaged signs.

Maybe they were doing some tree clearing and such.... so micro level stuff.

I called my best friend who lives in Florence, SC, he drives 95 a lot delivering trucks. Road is go, or at least no any worse than usual, a few signs down, no major problems. You shouldn't have any problems. Have a safe trip!!!

Thank you SuperD for making that call. If I recall correctly Florence , SC was one of the trouble spots originally.
We are looking forward to the trip , thanks to all that answered my question.
