11,000+ Mountain Pass

For several years now we have towed an 8-10,000 pound travel trailer through the mountains of Colorado with our Dodge Diesel. This was the first year driving our 2017 Chateau 31E and I was a little hesitant with the gas engine. Honestly, it's no diesel, but I was pretty impressed with how it handled. I still miss the ease of a diesel, but this wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. Props to the Ford V10.

Ours did great at 10880 feet at the Mesa/Delta county line on Grand Mesa. It's about a 5000 foot gain from Delta to the top.
