Final night on our weeklong trip from Illinois to Little Rock. Spent the night at Camelot RV Park in Poplar Bluff, MO. Nice park, with lots of trees, friendly people, full service. One of the few in this area still open after Nov 1.
The ACE worked like a champ the whole trip. The only issue was my cable TV test. I had tried to do the mods to run satellite through the exterior cable port with no luck. Finally, tested the coax with a tester and it said it was open. Since we were ready to leave, I didn't mess with it anymore and just ran the satallite coax through the window directly to the receiver - worked great. Then, last night the park we were in had cable, so just for grins, I hooked up tp it, made sure the amplifier was turned off, and did a channel search. It found about 30 channels, but we were unable to watch any of them, they were so bad. So, now I am scratching my head wondering is the coax really bad since I had a weak signal or is the coax still the problem. Otherwise, it was a great trip. Got home about an hour ago. Toad is in the garage, motorhome plugged in prepared for temps in the 20s tonight and tomorrow night, then put it in storage for about 10 days and back on the road for our trip to California and points between the day after we eat the turkey.
