RV Park for Dog People

Just returned from a weekend stay at 4 Paws Kingdom in Rutherfordton, NC. 4 Paws Kingdom is a dog-dedicated campground. If you travel with dogs and will be in North Carolina you may want to check them out. The grounds are beautiful with easy access sites, many with private fenced in dog lots. They have several large dog parks and even a large pond for your dogs to swim in.
Our girls loved it! Be advised this park is limited to adults only. Their site is here RV Sites

Stayed there during their Octoberfest a few years ago with the dog and 3 cats. The site was narrow and I was not able to extend my awning because of the trees. Also at night the nuts would fall from the trees and when they hit the vent covers or AC units it would sound like bombs exploding. Heck of a way to wake up at 1:00 AM. A nut falling from a tree also cracked the windshield on the car. Luckily it was an Enterprise rental with all insurance so no cost to me. The RV park is nice but there are issues depending on the time of year you are visiting. We will stay there again sometime in the future.
