RV Toll Pass

Has anyone ever heard of the RV Toll Pass?

https://rvtollpass.com/?utm_source=R...eid=4326a3f7a6

It looks to be a generic pass that works on tolls throughout the US. I am reluctant to to apply for one, because it wants credit card information, and I am not sure if it actually works, or could it be a scam?

It's real, costs $100 for the pass and $15 a month service charge for each month you use it.

Not for me.

just pay cash for the few tolls you might ever 'drive thru' when traveling.... works for many folks versus 'having' to have some type of 'toll pass' ... I've never purchased one and have been on most all of the 'toll roads' in the U.S., including the burroughs around NYC, I80 across Chicagoland, bridges in the SanFrancisco area, and even a few in Florida...

Illinios pass

If you are going to be on the East coast a lot, Illinois has an ipass with no annual fee and no expiration. It is compatible with the northeastern states ezpass and such. It requires a $20 minimum balance, but it’s convenient if you are spending as lot of time there. You can buy a pass in other states but they all charge extra, or expire if you don’t use it for a while. Illinois seems to be the best place to order one.

Cash Doesn't work in NYC, The MTA converted all bridges and tunnels to cashless tolls, They take a picture of your license plate and Bill you.
The only way to avoid this is EZPASS
If you are on a long trip and you pay the bill late there is a $100 late fee!!

The Golden Gate Bridge in SF, CA is the way. It's the online payment page that fools you. Beware.

Smart, not only does EZpass save time, you also receive a discount at the toll.

Isn’t just New York. Indiana & Kentucky tolled the I 65 bridge over the Ohio River. Same deal take your pic and send you a bill. We were gone long enough for the bill to become overdue and got whacked with a late fee.

... and they charge you an administrative fee on top of the toll for mailing you the invoice for the Toll.

I have EZPass but I just got the E-PASS Xtra from Florida. It is good for 18 states from Florida to Maine.

Toll roads in Texas are by tag or mailed bill with an additional fee.

I used one on the way to South Padre from Houston. Will they bother to track down a Michigan plate? Or just Texas plates?

Living I Florida I was interested in the E-PASS Xtra. I currently have the I- Pass and the Florida Sun Pass and would be interested having only one program.
Upon checking into E-PASS Xtra, I found that it's good in Florida around Orlando. It doesn't work on the Florida turnpike, Skyway bridge, toll roads in either Tampa or St Pete., Lakeland or any toll roads in Miami.

Buyer beware---Doesn't look like to good of a deal to me. Just my 2 cents worth.

EPass has always worked with Sunpass tolls. Sunpass has always worked on Epass tolls. Not sure where you get your false information.

I do not believe the information you received is correct as 16ACE27 said. I also live in Florida and I have used it with multiple toll roads in Florida.

I have used it on the bridges in Cape Coral in Lee County where they have both LeeWay and also use SunPass transponders.

I have also used it in the Miami area and across Alligator Alley without any issues.

From multiple Florida outlets it clearly states: E-PASS Xtra works with all E-PASS, SunPass, LeeWay, PeachPass, NC QuickPass, E-ZPass, RiverLink and I-PASS toll systems.

Couldn't tell you, I just don't know. What I do know, before I got my TxTAG, I would get a bill sometimes months after using a toll road. The local toll roads use a third party vendor to collect tolls. As a rule, the state doesn't build toll roads, local governments do the building to meet local needs.

Just get EZ-Pass it’s linked to your checking account, you set the replenishment amount and forget it! It automatically emails you when statement is available and your account is replenished ! Simple and easy....
