Asheville in December
First off, thanks to everyone on the forum for sharing so much information to a couple newbies. DW and I would like to spend December near the Asheville NC / Biltmore area. Can anyone recommend a great campground in the area?

Highly recommend Bear Creek...close to downtown. Older CG but well maintained and very nice people. We will be there at Christmas as my daughter lives in Asheville (and Burnsville) an she wants to host Christmas for the family this year...what a lesson she will learn on just what this entails...I'm looking forward to "showing up".

Correct, but those "pie in the sky" sites are hard to get. They will book you in them but when you get there...things can change.
