Second Winter out of Michigan,,.
Well, back home after 5 months and about 7000 miles on the road with our 2017 Windsport 35m.
Stayed in mostly Army Corp campgrounds, ( our favorites ) and a few state parks.
Did a few days of rustic camping on the beach in Texas at Searim SP.
Was a nice experience, until we got chased out by mosquitoes.
We're form Michigan and can deal with a few, but this was unbelievable.
So anyways, been there done that.
Only had a couple issues. Had to bolt the awing back on. Self tapping screws were striped out from the factory. It's a carefree latitude awing, and not to impressed with it so far. Seems kind of flimsy, but it works.
The other issue was with the rear grey water tank. Seems like it wasn't properly installed . The brackets were never attached to the lip on the back side of the tank. I got one back on, but couldn't reach the one in the middle. (See pic. Sorry it's side ways )
All in all, had a great trip, saw and stayed in a lot of beautiful places.
I will ad that the Flying J app was a great help, i think a must for any RV'er.
Could always find rv friendly stations with unleaded rv fuel lanes. Plus a nickle off a gallon with good sam.
We stopped at a lot of them and I'm expecting I'll be getting a birthday card from OPEC this year. lol .
