Suggestion for an RV friendly Hotel/Casino to park in Vegas?
We are traveling for the first time through Las Vegas, and are looking for a suggestion for an overnight stay at an RV friendly hotel/casino.
We tried to use the search, but since Thor has a model 'Vegas' we didn't get very far.

We have used Sam's Town on 5225 Boulder Highway. It's off the strip but that doesn't bother us. You can take a cab or shuttle to the strip. It's clean, quite, next to their casino but really doesn't have any shade. They give all sorts of discounts too.

Just down the highway from Sam's Town is Duck Creek, we haven't stayed there but met a couple that worked for 10 years & said it was a really nice park. As far as being out on Boulder highway, there are a lot of casinos in that area that are much less crowded & not all the hustle & bustle, we enjoy it more than the strip.

We were in Vegas last week and stayed at Circus Circus. Site 52 is the best followed by Site 10 when it comes to shade. Otherwise expect hot!!! RV Park has it's own pool, but the casino has the Adverturedome (which is awesome) and a new monster water slide. They also have a kids Midway with tons of games for all ages.

Last week the couple parked next to us said Circus Circus had done away with their rv park to make way for expansion, is that no5 true?

we were planning on staying there on a cross country trip with a moving truck. Stayed at the Treasure Island Hotel and they have a back lot for oversize parking. Our plans changed and we did not have the truck with us, I think the parking would have been free.
An option if you want to stay in a Vegas Hotel on the strip.

Although not in Vegas but the Harrah's at Cherokee NC just became RV Unfriendly this past June (can not park in their parking lot, big signs up all around the parking lot).
I complained to the company and was told it was "due to expansion and future growth models". They are celebrating thier 20th year, too bad they have decided to turn thier backs to the RV Community population.
