Trip West

Just finished 4200 miles. Illinois to Louisiana, Texas, NM, Az back NM, Texas, Okl, MO, home. Had some major wind and keeping it at 65 really made a difference, with no wind drove 70. Ran cruise but started accelerating before big hills. I did put a Safe-T-Plus on and it helped a lot. With that and watching the speed when windy it was a great ride. We also are leaning more and more to KOAs, they are expensive but you know what you are getting. Just thought I would share some driving info.

Yeah much like McDonalds: You know pretty much what you're getting. We use KOA's a lot for the along the trip stops.

Great trip. One of our favorites in there is NM. Generally a lot less crowded.

Next time, visit Cody WY and I have heard the KOA in Greybull WY is awesome! You would need a toad as that KOA is 60 miles or so away from Cody. We have several other RV Parks in Cody, including a KOA and most, if not all have good reviews. Yellowstone is about an hours (very scenic drive) from Cody.

I would not call the one in Greybull awesome; it's in the residential section of town but the folks that run it are great. We stayed there in 2010
