Looking to Buy Axis/Vegas 25.2

I am looking to buy a new or used Thor RUV for under $70K. I see them offered for $75K. But I am willing to buy a used one or a new 2015 for that price.

There is no reason why you should not be able to find one at that price point especially if you are willing to travel to take delivery.

My local dealer has a couple of new 2015s for under 70K and that is before negotiating the price lower.

I agree, check with more dealers than just the local one. You might even find a 2016, for about the same price, as they have been coming off the line for a over a month.
Also, remember that the listed selling price often isn't the bottom dollar, especially if they know you are shopping around. Be sure to check mhsrv.com in Texas, and Total Value RV in Indiana. For us, Paul Sherry blew them all out, but it's a long flight to Piqua, Ohio!
Happy hunting!

Suggest you do some old fashioned phone calls to those dealers, and many more. Dealers vary in how they post incoming unsold units. You may have to wait a while, or they might have something you want in delivery status.

When I got my Honda Element, I posted on a forum (ElementOwnersClub) and several dealers contacted me. I was hoping to have that same luck here.

I don't think RV dealers are that progressive and scan internet forums. If they did, I'm sure they would get "an earful"! LOL

The Focus Electric forum also has a couple of dealers on there.

I'm not sure about 25.2, but i know you can buy a brand new 25.1 at Total Value in Elkhart ind for 71.500. And that includes every option Thor offers on those units including the outside TV. That's the quote i got from Scott Moody a week ago. I'm sure the 25.2 would be darn close to that if not the same

Unfortunately, no. The 25.1 does not have the permanent queen size bed in the back. The dinette pops out and you need to make the bed. I too have seen the 25.1 for $70 to $71K. But, alas, not the 25.2.

Unfortunately no what? I wasn't trying to sell you on the 25.1, but pointing out you could get your price on the 25.2. You didn't say whether you had talked with Scott Moody at Total Value or not. Bet you 'd get your price if you did. They are very accommodating.

The great thing about Total Value RV in Elkhart is you'll have almost no delivery cost, and you get to do the break in miles. If you can arrange to do pick it up, and have the tim9, it's a great way to go.

I would highly recommend that you speak with him if you are serious to buy at this time. For example, I noticed their prices quoted on their online site were up about 5,000 from where i was quoted by him just 7 months ago. I questioned him on it and he put me on hold for a second and came back about 4,000 lower. So, these guys like to sell and do volume close to the factory without a bunch of fees is their gig. I know how it works in that sort of business. At a certain volume they buy the units from the factory at a certain price. Then if they exceed a certain volume the price on every unit they buy and show room goes down. So, their gig is to the highest volume they can to get the biggest year end discounts.

Heck, I talked to a Arizona dealer who told me they couldn't even buy and get the unit to their dealership for what TV sells them for, not to mention any profit. TV is the Walmart of RVs. lol

We flew to Elkhart and bought ours from TV and have never regretted it. Family owned business with a great service staff.
