new hurricane

I needed a little more room for my 91 year father, so I purchased a new 2016 hurricane 31s on a f-53 chassis. their is a big difference in handing with the straight axle compared to the twin I-beam on the axis, their is no sway and tracks straight with no dead spot in the steering wheel. I pick it up Tuesday for a shake down.

Congratulations on new Hurricane. Hope both you and your dad enjoy it.

Could you expand on your handling comment? Your specs show the Axis had a Safety Plus Steering Stabilizer installed. Did that not fix the Axis handling problems?

handling

what I mean by better steering with the straight axle is as delivered by the dealer their is no dead spot with the straight axle. my axis had a dead spot from about 11:00 to 1:00, a lot of play. the safety plus on the axis took about 90% of it out after a good alignment.
