Hi, I am not sure which specific BCC (Battery Control Center) you have on your 05 Hurricane so this may not be useful for you, but try this hyperlink:

If you have the same BCC (typical location is driver side engine compartment) then the schematic and operational description of this BCC should help you troubleshoot very much. It is the same circuit in my 2013 ACE 30.1 and has been the key “missing info link” in my electrical system.
Since your gen starts and runs, does it supply AC power correctly to the coach AC outlets? If yes, then I wonder if your converter also does not charge coach batteries when you are on AC shore power (and gen is off)? When the gen starts, the transfer switch should operate to now power the converter from the gen instead of shore power. There is a small grey 50 amp cct breaker located inside the RV Custom Products BCC (on the cct board) which may need to be reset to enable proper DC charging of the coach batteries from either the gen or shore AC power sources feeding the converter. Be very careful opening the BCC as you do not want to do any welding in there. Use safe electrical practise.
