15-40 Synthetic for Generator

Hey folks,
The Cummins/Onan manual suggests either straight 30 weight or 15-40 weight for the generator depending on your climate. I was looking for 15-40 in a synthetic that I used to use for our older Volvos and could not find it on the shelf. I did find an American company called Shaeffer's on Amazon that sells 15-40 in a full synthetic. I never could find 30 weight in full synthetic.... things keep changing don't they?

Shell Rotella T5 is a 15w40 semi synthetic and Walmart had it for $14 a gallon today.

I did find a synthetic blend but I was still looking for the full-syn.

Rotella T6 I believe is full synthetic.

Chevron & Mobil also have full syn. in 15-40.. And possibly Amzoil & Castrol
