2016 Thor Ace

I a man a new RV owner, and we have had nothing but problems with this coach... But right now, I am getting ready to open the coach up for us, and after reinstalling the house batteries, I am not able to read anything on the generator hrs, the screen is blank. The generator will not start. We have filled the fuel tank .

The second problem is that for some reason, the leveling jack panel is saying that the left rear jack is down, but I am not able to do anything on th panel because it keeps saying there is low voltage... HELP!!

Start the motorhome engine. Set the emergency brake. Let it run a few minutes to stabilize the electrical. Now you can operate the leveler controls.

When you say generator won't start. Do you mean it will turn over but not start or doesn't do anything? You prime the generator by holding the start button down for a few seconda to prime it.
Not sure on your levelers but as as mentioned on my 30.1 I have to have my motor running to use the levelers or I get low voltage.

Yes , after letting the engine run, the leveling panel is still saying low voltage.

As for the generator, The hours used are not sowing on the monitor panel. I tried to use the start button but nothing happens. I also opened the generator compartment and tried to start the generator using the prime / start button but it didn't do anything. Thanks

I am taking it that at least the generator turns over. If that is the case you may need to prime and start many times before it will fire up. I know mine after sitting a couple months in winter contitions took 10 tries before it fired up. Now if it does not ever turn over, do the other 12 volt items work in the coach, i.e. lights does the frig. work. If those do not work either I would check your batteries to make sure they are charged as you said you reistalled the batteries so maybe they lost a charge.

As stated before the levelers work only when the motor is running. Even though it says low voltage have you tried to push the bottons.

i have the same unit and just put in new batteries. did you make sure that you have all the wires that came off the positive post connected. i know there are a lot of them and one may have dropped behind the tray near the frame. another item to check is that you turned on the battery disconnect in side the door near the entry steps, and heard it click on. i know nothing about the jacks other than not being able to control them independently is stupid.

I got a call from an ACE owner one day last year. He was having an issue with generator and leveling jacks when he was trying to change campgrounds. His problem was a 50 amp breaker (one of the big ones) in the engine compartment had tripped. Once he reset the breaker he was powered up, off the jacks and changing sites.

Not sure this is the same issue but might not hurt to check if you haven't already done so.
