2016 Thor Axis - continue to have AC issues

We are at our wits end. Bought this beautiful Thor Axis in late July from Camping World. Two and a half weeks after getting it home the cab AC went out. Camping World was great about getting it into their subcontract shop quickly but it all went downhill from there. Wrong part shipped twice. Then finally shipped correct part almost a month later. When we went to pick it up it started blowing HOT air once we got it home (about 45 miles away). Took it back to CW following Monday. Supposedly a vacuum switch problem. Got it back to us about 12 days later. Drove it home and guess what?? AC blowing HOT air again. Now they are saying its some kind of leak and its blowing cold air but "not so cold" when in idle or stopped. Has now been in the shop over 68 calendar days and we've owned it for 94 days. Made 3 payments and have yet to even pack it up or take our first trip. Yes we are working with Thor. We are just DONE with it and want our money back or a new AXIS. Thor just wants to keep working on it. Has anyone been through this that could offer us some good advice?

Knowing how important a/c is to all of us...
This is going to be hard to take...but, everyone on this forum, speaking from experience ... will advise you to have them order the necessary parts..keep your motorhome at home..then take it to your CW when they are ready to work on it.
In doing this, you will, possibly, be able to get some use out of it.
In addition, you may find someone who can fix your a/c, permanently..and you may get Thor to cover the cost if you contact them first and advise them of what you want to do.

I would check with your state consumer affairs div and find out if the Lemon Law applies to RV's there. In some states it does and others not. If it does it gives you more leverage. While I personally would rather keep my RV at home while they got the parts that might not be the best course of action for you. They could claim it was only out of service for the actual number of days they had it on their lot and that it was usable the rest of the time. It also clears their lot for other units and puts your repair at the end of the line, not that it seems they care.
I do understand your frustration but the problem sounds like it is the repair center more than the unit. I would start pushing to have it moved to a different repair facility the one its going to now is obviously incompetent. And keep pushing for a new unit but dont expect it to be trouble free.

I am having the same issue. Did you ever get yours fixed? What was the fix?
