Shower leak

We have a 2017 Thor Palazzo 36.1. The shower leaks profusely at the bottom, near the hinge. Water pours out from beneath the "protective"plastic strip at the bottom. Water flows out straight into a heater vent. Blocking with towels for the time being. Any ideas?

My Miramar had the same issue. Just picked up a tube of white tub caulk and sealed all around the bottom where the track meets the plastic.

Had the same problem with our Miramar, slight damage was done to the wallpaper. We also caulked up the seams. Thor sent us a small roll of wallpaper to cover up the damage. Can't see anything now and the shower no longer leaks.

Thanks. I thought about that but I was wondering if Thor had a fix for it.

Mine is also a 2017 palazzo 36.1 I bought in June with same issue. The dealer supposedly repaired but still leaks. It appears to me, the channel on the base at the bottom of the doors should have been oriented 180° from current position. The channel has a raised lip positioned to the inside of the shower. Water runs down the door and has no place to go but to the floor (including heater vent). Take a look at yours to see if yours looks the same. I don't have a picture of it but will discuss with the dealer when I take back for other issues.

Haven't checked out results yet but got in shower with silicon then filled channel temporarily. I've ordered a shower swipe /seal from amazon. I wasn't sure it would make it here for next trip.

Mine is exactly the same. Runs out and into heater. We have to stack towels at the base. I'll let you know how the temporary and "permanent" fix go. If neither works, it goes into the shop for the " list" on the 17th. I'll see what they can do.

This is the channel at the bottom of the door that I think is installed backwards.

Mine is installed the same way. It would be hard to close the door if it were reversed seems like over the lip. I did the silicone thing. Not pretty. I had a small leak in the center. Applied more ( from the inside ) and will check tomorrow.
The sweep I ordered on Amazon will be here Monday , but we ll be on the road by then. So hopefully this second application will do it for the time being.
I'll try to post the sweep/seal that I ordered.

Silicone won't last! Try a marine sealed 5200 series. Remove the entire shower door enclosure. Re bed the frame into the 4200 sealent. Look closely at how the sides meet the bottom. The ends need caulking, otherwise the water simply bypasses the interior caulking and flows down the track to the ends and runs out.

Gave up on temporary fix. Still leaks at bottom. Went to Walmart , bought a shower curtain and mounted on inside.

Bottom was placed in backwards. Reversed, no leaks.
