Thor Hurricanes or Windsports with the 35M floor plan do not have an outside kitchen; thus, do NOT come with an inverter. The only way to have 120 volt power to the coach is to plug in to shore power or run the generator.

Not sure what an outside kitchen has to donwith whether or not it has an inverter. But go to the Owner Resources page on Thor Motor Coach website. Enter your VIN, and you'll get schematics and you can find the manual for the inverter.

Have you located the inverter yet? It may need to be powered on both on the coach switch as well as the switch on the inverter itself.

Thor MC plant 750 only installs inverters in coaches built with outside kitchens. The inverter is there to provide 120 volt A/C power to the outside kitchen refrigerator. Plant 750 builds all the ACE, Freedom Traveler, Hurricane and Windsport motor coaches. Inverters are standard on all plant 850 motor coaches.

Iíve seen the inverter And at one time I heard it running. Is the switch your talking about the one inside coach by the door
Thought I turned it off for storage?

The inverter control panel is just above the Thor control panel. It contains an on/off switch, battery voltage , output amperage and AC source monitors. The Thor installed inverters look like the one shown here.<http://www.xantrex.com/power-products/power-inverters/pro-series-inverters.aspx> I suggest the fan noise you hear is from the World Friendship Company's converter located under the bed. It is noisy and runs based on total current draw and not converter temperature.
