Slide maybe out of sync Vegas

I noticed that the slide does not return flush to the body on our 2016 Vegas like it used to, it is slightly on the body molding now. Maybe motors slightly out of sync? Hopefully I upload pic correctly.

Have you synced the slide at all? (Run it all the way out and when it stops keep the button pressed for an extra 3-5 seconds after the motors stop. Do the same thing when fully retracting it. I do that every singe time I move the slide.)

With the slide extended have you examined the inside part there: Is there any pieces extending that would prevent the slide from retracting fully? On ours the triangle trim piece there covering the corner came loose--might want to check that.

Jaimegeek, is your slide perfectly even on both sides? Mine has always been off about half an inch but it seals fine. Never had any issues.

Roadcouple, Hard to tell from this pic, is one side sticking out further than the other? Is the rubber seal compressed where it wont leak? Mine is off about an half an inch (Maybe a little less) and its never been a problem.

Post more pics and always operate your slide like Jamesgeek said.

My understanding is, with the schwintek slides, its pretty important to keep them synchronized, by, as already stated, keeping the button depressed for an additional five seconds or so every time the slide is extended or retracted. I do that every time, and so far so good.

Hopefully; all it needs is a good re-syncing!
Let us know how it works out; good luck!

Yep, we hold the button 3-4 seconds each time going out or in. Also we do not use the slide unless it is level.
Did check for something stuck behind the couch, Jamie which piece of trim are you referring to? We are out of town without the Vegas for a few days but will update thread when we get back Monday.
Thanks for the replies.

Ok you checked behind the couch, but on the outside (extend the slide and then look behind the trim piece in your picture--is there something sticking out the back side towards the camper wall).

Are you certain it's just not that the trim piece has moved. It looks like in the picture perhaps the corner trim has moved slightly.

Great points on the molding. I am a great one for missing the simple things.

That molding was too long when new, I could see daylight from inside with the slide retracted. It was cut back at delivery inspection.

Back in town and checked out the slide, the weatherstrip is compressed and there are no gaps I can see.
The pie shaped molding is tight (makes sense with it closed) and no sign of cracks in the adhesive.
I cannot fully extend the slide due to space constraints and everything I read says do not extend part way so I will check for external obstructions and see if the molding moves on our next trip.
I could swear that it used to fit flush with the body but since the weatherstrip looks good and it is virtually the same thickness as the other side, unless I see an exterior obstruction next trip I will just watch it.
Thanks again for the replies, if I find anything conclusive I will share the info.

Seems if the seal is compressed and flush with the body and the slide extends and retracts with no problems, you should, in theory, be ok. When you can, run it out and in several times, just to be sure it stays aligned, and there are no strange noises as it goes in and out.
