Last Warranty Issues on '16 24.1

Just sharing the experience here for others. We took our Axis to our selling dealer last November for several small warranty issues: a) fiberglass hood is cracking at corner openings next to the grill (not such a small issue I am now finding) b) water leaking into left tail light c) King Jack antenna does not articulate properly - gears stripped...

I talked with Brandon at Thor about an unrelated question and discussed the hood warranty because Giant RV wanted to do "body work repair" on the cracks. Brandon said Thor would authorize an entire new hood. Didn't hear anything about the arrival of the hood so I called Thor on 03-15-17 to check. I was informed that the hood was delivered to the dealer on 02-14-17. Sent an email to the dealer the same day and received one back the same day saying that they had "found" the hood but it was not painted and now they have to ask Thor who will paint it or will they send a painted hood instead.... The service writer at the dealer had previously assured me that the dealer would have to computer match the paint color and they would be painting it.

Needless to say, this is just ridiculous that the owner has to play mediator between the company and the dealer. Emails sent to both the dealership management and Thor. I'll let you know what happens.

Not sure what the dealer will do for that problem, but it is likely it won't be satisfactory.

Yeah, Jamie, I KNOW why the one taillight has moisture in it... One screw was broken during the initial installation. I told the service writer that it just needed the broken screw removed and replaced and instead they ordered an entire new taillight....
