Mine is installed properly to the tee of directions and made no noticeable difference on my rig. Perhaps it depends on what type rig installed on and drivers input.

Had mines checked at the factory in Atlanta and it was installed wrong. I can tell the difference in how it drive now.

Out of curiosity, did they charge to fix it? My dealer installed the wrong model and I called to confirm and they were pretty clear that I needed to have the dealer correct. Their statement was, "you paid a lot for it and they need to get the right model installed." My dealer had installed the 140 when I needed the 180.

I'm getting it swapped next week, but I have my doubts whether they really know what they are doing.

You might check into SUMO Springs ...
Several of us on the Forum replaced the bump stops front and rear with Sumos and have noticed a marked improvement in handling.

Another easy cheap improvement is to replace the rubber SB (Sway Bar) bushings with polyurathane ones, When i replaced mine they looked like the failed rubber ones in the picture below.

In 2014 or 15 Ford started using the poly bushings so on newer mh switching isnt needed. However Ford did not lube them. When i did the chf i removed the front and rear swars bars from the axle brackets and lubed the bushings with poly lube.

Which Sumo's are people going with. I looked at this a few weeks ago, and I noticed there are two distinct types. One acts kind of like the bump stops and only are affixed to the leaf, if I remember correctly. And the other is attached at the top and bottom of the Sumo.

I put these on the rear: SSR-130-54

and these on the front: SSF-106-40

Made a HUGE difference. No more wallowing, more control in crosswinds.

Do all F-53 chassis come from the factory with the least tension setting?

If youre referring to the anti sway bars then yes. CHF corrects this.

Dealer reimburse me, for the repairs to my front end and new safety plus and installation of the new one.

Good move I can really tell the difference, when trucks pass and strong winds and handling.

I think I to will get the Safe T Plus , do the CHF, and see how my 2017 Thor Challenger 37 TB handles. If needed I'll go with the Sumo Springs. I put Sumo Springs, and Bilstein shocks on the rear of my F-350 and it made a world of difference, so Sumos on the MH will be just as good I would think !
Not sure what shocks are stock to the 37 TB, anyone know ?

Question for Axis Earl

I am on the SF peninsula and am wondering what Ford dealership did your "warranty" alignment. The only Ford truck repair center I am aware of is off Brokaw rd down in San Jose. I live in Silicon Valley as well.
