Sealer for slide trim piece

About 5 feet (from the front of the slide) of the trim piece that runs along the bottom of the slide on my Windsport has come unstuck along the top edge. Anyone have any experience with a good sealer to use on it?

RTV (room temperature vulcanizing) sealant is what you want for that. Available at any hardware store, or that big box with a name that starts with a W.

The trim comes with a contact adhesive already applied. Like all "stick-on" adhesives, they are always suspect. Just clean the adhesive's surface well. I use 3M's adhesive remover. Reapply contact adhesive. Again 3M makes a automotive "Plastic Emblem and Trim Adhesive". Most FLAPS (friendly local automotive parts store) carry everything you need. An Axalta jobber will sell the professional grade of the same.

Mystery solved - Crappy THOR Workmanship

First let me thank the couple of guys who responded.

The attached picture shows the support for the trim on the underside of the slide. There are supposed to be #8 self-drilling screws about every 10 inches the full length of the slide. There were only a couple of screws for about the first 12 feet and when I tested them for tightness the screw heads fell out - they had been wrung off. That's why the trim piece had fallen.

Is the right picture - rotate it 90 degrees CW.
