I am extremely “mechanical” in a broader sense, and can do a rough estimate. As long as your A/C is working correctly, I would personally not expect inside temperature to drop more than about 2 F, maybe 3 F at most (even though I feel that’s unlikely). Assuming everything else is the same, I would base my decision on lowering temperature inside motorhome by 2 F more or less. I would not spend the money for that small an improvement, and would try my best to reduce loads on A/C first.
If looking to lower temperature a lot, like say 10F, you need other “real” options to increase cooling capacity.
