Water valve problem, any fixes out there?

2016 Palazzo 33.4. Our main water control valve is on its fourth iteration, physically replaced three times under warranty, so this is the fourth valve.

Shortly after warranty was up it started acting strange again so I just lived with it. Now it has gotten to a point where I’ll need to address it.

Four position valve,
1) Normal, for use with pump only feeds from fresh water tank.
(Pump runs continuously, no leaks, apparently only ‘internal’ leak)

2) Winterize position, I don’t use that as I do not winterize. Garaged.

3) City Fixture, for use when on ‘shore’ city water.
(This is where I leave it for both pump use when on the road and
campground use when connected to city water and pump off.
Only position where the pump doesn’t run continuously when on the
road.)

4) Tank fill, seems to work fine.

Now however the tank is filling continuously when on city water thus overfilling and running all over the ground making lots of mud and wasting water! Always a concern in the desert southwest.

My questions are,
Anybody know a maker/source for this valve?
Anybody deal with this problem on their rig and found a fix?
Can this valve be user repaired?

Would prefer to not replace this valve again as four valves with the same problem is a good indication that this valve has an ‘issue’.

Awaiting guidance from the elite water prognosticators on this forum, in waterless anticipation!!

It sounds to me like it may be the check valve in your pump, not the Anderson valve. Maybe.

I'm not familiar with your specific coach, but there's a good chance that you have an Anderson Brass KANTLEAK valve. Repair kits are available for those and look to be doable with basic handyman skills and tools. I remember seeing some YouTube videos that show how to replace the cartridge.

In my continuing odyssey thru the net and contacting Thor I’ve found out that yes this is a known problem and the culprit is the Anderson valve 200RV-4.

That valve is a known problem and is now considered legacy and the associated panel is no longer made.

However! there is a retrofit panel called the MANRV102-RF for the low low price of $219 to replace it, available as Thor part #0445086, currently back ordered at both Thor and ‘abcorv.com’.. sigh, .

This is a common problem. It costs about $15 to fix forever. Put a shutoff valve in the line between the water tank and pump. Turn off valve when running on city water, open valve when you unhook so you can use tank water on the road. Takes about 10 minutes to install, including coffee break.

Mine has a valve there...don't all models? How else could you winterize using the pump without pulling water from your tank rather than your antifreeze jug?
