Angry Awning roller loose from arm

We have a Thor 2016 palazzo our awning roller seems to be coming loose from the arm mechanism. The awning did take a rain beating back in April but popped back and was working ok we straighten the arm and all seemed good but now the part on the arm seems to be coming lose from the awning roller is there a set screw u can tighten and where is it or do we have to get a new arm?

You might throw a pic of the problem area up for folks to see exactly where the issue lies.

Yes it would be helpful to see the type of awning you have.

Awning

A pic is a good idea but after climbing up and looking at the situation thought I'd post how we fixed the problem. The screws on the cap were loose and one was gone expect that happened through use and movement of the awning. Lesson learned check the awning more often

If it is a C of C Latitude patio awning the roller is held on to the arms by a 1/2" "C" clip with a tab to prevent it turning with the roller. However a standard C clip will work. The ISB and parts list is on the C of C website and they will ship expensive replacement parts to individual owners. <http://www.carefreeofcolorado.com/>
