The stock Axxera does not support SiriusXM. The only solution is to buy a separate SiriusXM radio and either use Bluetooth or direct connect to the Aux-in.

I actually carry an older XM radio with me and it broadcasts to 88.1MHz on the FM dial. Since the RV is mostly fiberglass, I just lay the antenna on the dashboard.

If you have the full-access subscription you can put the SiriusXM App on your smartphone and bluetooth that to the radio.

The Jensen radio says it supports internet radio, but you need to buy an additional converter - which is very hard to find ( sort of obsolete ) and very expensive. I use a regular Serius/XM car kit radio, input the signal into the radio antenna ( XM has piece that you put in the antenna connection - antenna connection easily found under the removable panel over the radio). I also just put the antenna on the dash - sometimes you have to move around as you change direction, but not often)

Being cheap, I share the same XM radio between house and several cars- using a separate house/car kit for each....

No Jensen in 2016/2017 Axis/Vegas units. It has the Axxera radio.

I have a mobile Sirius unit. ran the antenna up around the A pillar up through the air vent, antenna must point south to get a decent reception.

So Mike,
What is going on with the new Axis? This is a great place to discuss any issues you may have. Some are easy self-fixes and others may not be.

When we first got our coach I got Sirius, and a satellite receiver with car kit and plugged it into the AUX port on the Axxera radio. However, I have since let the subscription expire. I have found that it is cheaper and just as good to stream iHeart Radio from my iPhone using Bluetooth to the Axxera radio.

Sirius XM Radio

I have had an old XM2Go portable unit that I usually have in my shop hooked up to a small converter with separate speakers. I kept the automotive antenna hookup and just ordered a new car cradle on Ebay. I hooked it up to the aux-in on the Axerra and it seems to work. Not sure how the antenna that I placed on the dash will work. I may end up moving that around. Still nice to have and didn't have to buy another unit subscription.

I have a 2016 Thor Ace 29.4 with the AV614BH Axxera. I've been told that a receiver/antenna would work with this system. I already have Serius XM on my Kia that I will be towing. I plan on having Best Buy install it.

Why do you want to spend any money on the installation? It is just a straight forward plug and play thing. The only real decision you have to make is where to place the antenna and how to route it out of sight.
I put my antenna in a overhead compartment and run the wire behind the a pillar cover. It was less than an hour of work to do this.
