Loose electrical connection on main service cable to RV

So I have a 50amp service cable and noticed today that when I plugged it into my RV it was quite loose! My concern is, its too loose. I can bend the blades either in or out to help make it tighter, but the question is, does anyone know which way should I bend the blades, in or out? As it is now, I'm afraid if someone kicks or trips or whatever over the main extension cable it might short.

You don't have a twist-lok connection with a locking ring?

Yes, I do. I figured out it is the molded part of the main cable. The locking ring threads all the way up to the receptacle. The receptacle on the MH is fine. I'm assuming that would mean a new cable as there is no way into the molded piece. Unless maybe I can get a new fitting and then cut the cable and install the new piece. hmmmm.

If you are referring to the ped end of a 50 amp, just give The flat blades a little twist. to provide tension

Make sure that the cable is on there nice and tight,if it is as loose as your photo shows it will arc and begin to melt which will lead to a fire!Very important!

actually no, not the pedestal end but at the MH wall connection
