Axxera AV615BH Radio

Took out out new Freedom Elite on it's maiden voyage and all was perfect except the am/fm/satellite radio/back up camera went blank. Checked the fuses and none were blown.

Called the dealership (Camping World) and they said something probably came undone/unplugged off the back of the unit.

Anybody else have similar problems and if so, what was the necessary repair done to bring it back to life ?

In the kit you received with the owners manual and such should have been a box with the stuff for the radio. In there you should have two L brackets that can be inserted on each side of the radio to pull it out. If you are uncomfortable, search on youtube for a video on how to remove a double DIN Axxera.

Then you can check the connections yourself.

It's factory installed unit and there are no visible exterior holes like shown in the video.

Under warranty so just gonna have the dealership take care of it when it goes i for weatherization first week of October.

You insert the flat tool on the side between the radio and the dash. Then work it up and down. You will feel the release.

Is the 12 volt store/use switch in the use position? On our 2016 Vegas the 12 volt switch must be on or the Radio does not work.

I just tried the radio with the use/store switch in the use position and still nothing.

So much for a quick and easy fix.

We had one little (weird) problem when we first got our Vegas, the ignition switch was loose. You had to wiggle it to get some of the AUX stuff (AC, dash lights) to work. It did not affect the Radio as it is wired thru that 12volt store/use swith. Might be something to look at, but I am not sure how much they changed on your Freedom Elite steering column.
