bathroom door lock

SOS hello,

We are Canadian from Montreal. We have a Vegas 24.1 2015. Already many problems solved but which cost dear !!!
We have a new problem: the door lock of the bathroom: the thing that goes up and goes down the top of the door to lock it no longer works! it looks like it no longer connects with the handle from below?
Has anyone ever had this problem?
How to fix it?
I have to leave on September 23 on holiday and I would like to repair this door before leaving home.

Not sure how you would fix it: That would depend on where its broke.

You could try to disassemble the handle area and see if something there is broke. Ours still works but pops out of the socket in the ceiling--especially when on the road. I added some magnets to hold it closed.

We also had the same problem only two weeks ago. Mr. Homer aka McGyver was able to get the door open. When we got home he found an extra "skinny" screwdriver in his tool box, tried it on the bathroom door and it worked great. It's now in a drawer in the motorhome for another emergency locked door.
