Battery changes

I had to change all the batteries on my 2017 Thor Quantam. I had someone come to the coach to change them for me as my wife is still in the hospital. He removed all the batteries and then let me know that the 2 house batteries under the steps had stickers on them labeled 2/14, and the battery for the engine was labeled 3/15..........Dealership was called and they immediately blamed Thor....Thor was called and they immediately blamed the dealer saying that they must have swapped them out. I now have 3 6/19 batteries for my coach. I am about at the end of my patience with Thor and Dixie RV in all matters of maintenance on this coach, not to mention I have the worries of my wife's illness. Please let anyone and everyone know to check the dates on their batteries.....Thanks

I just hope that your Wife is able to heal quickly and completely...
That's all that truly matters!

She is getting better and seems to be healing up but not as quickly as I would like but I can't speed up the healing process. Thanks for the comment. And yes, She is the only thing that really matters right now. I am just about at the end of my patience and rope with Thor and Dixie RV. I took the coach in for the so called yearly Warranty for Life inspection and when they called and said the coach was ready for pickup, I found that they had drained the house batteries and the engine battery dead. They said that the alternator was bad and that they did not work on chassis problems. They would not even recharge the batteries for me. I called Mullinax Ford in Mobile Alabama and Tina from the service department told me to take it to the auto repair place that was doing their warranty work. I was told by the repair shop that she was wrong....He said that the alternator should not have gone bad since the coach is a 2017 model with only 5500 miles on it. But anyway, the wife is the main concern with me.

Tinker I’m with a Bob and you that the Mrs is the only true concern currently. On the coach, most dealers want to play dumb it seams and the manufacturers are hit and miss. Sometimes I think it’s more the person you get to talk too.
The one thing I always keep in mind is the one thing neither place wants; bad publicity. That said I am only one lonely voice. So I use it to call the local news station for a community interest piece. Funny how things get a higher priority afterwards. Have to admit the news won’t always show interest. It’s not until you remind them of how much we pay and how difficult it is to use the warranty’s that they might be interested.
No matter what, I pray the Bride is healing well. Everything else will work out in the long run.
