Sitting in my driveway; My coach is sitting at 1.7 degrees, front to rear and .8 degrees, side to side. When I poured the driveway 20 years ago, that is about what I was shooting for in order to properly drain. It will not complete the leveling process. I put it in manual. It will not bring the rear up to level. It runs out of cylinder. Thor rep says I need to set the zero point. Do I really need to take it somewhere that is already perfectly level and do the zero point reset?

No, you level it manually and then do the "set" procedure. If you can't level it manually (using a 4' level) with those minimum slants, then there is another problem.

The Thor manual states; Zero point is set at the time the unit leaves the production facility. Resetting of the zero point is considered owner maintenance and as such not covered under the TMC warranty.

The TMC tech told me to call him back when I had it in a level spot and he would walk me through the process. I wonder if that would put it under TMC warranty?

The zero point calibration is not a warranty issue. The inability to level the motorhome manually when withing a few degrees of level to start is a warranty issue.

This is an example of the procedure for setting the zero point calibration and may or may not apply directly to your system:

Zero Point Calibration
1. Set a carpenter’s level on the floor inside the unit and use the manual controls to manually level the
unit according to the carpenter’s level. Do this for front to back and side to side level.
2. Once the unit is level, press the “ON/OFF” button to turn off the interface.
3. With the interface turned off, press and release the “FRONT” button 10 times and then press and
release the “REAR” button 10 times. The interface will flash and beep, and the display should
read “ZERO POINT CALIBRATE”. To set this position in the memory, press “ENTER”.
4. The display should read “ZERO POINT STABILITY SUCCESSFULLY SET”
5. The Level Up system is now calibrated and ready to use.

Thanks again for this info. I took the coach to a fairly level spot and successfully reset the zero point. Back home it successfully leveled itself in my driveway. Here’s my next question. When I set the zero point all 4 levelers were touching. In my driveway one of the levelers is not down. Is that normal? In order to stabilize the coach, I thought they would all be touching.

Level and stable are 2 different things...

For best stability - yes - you want all 4 down.
DW can tell when one isn't making contact... lol

Once auto-level if a jack isn't down - you should be able to switch to manual and lower front or rear jacks (based on the one still up) till it touches... Its smart enough not to move the other one in pair that is extended/down until the other one 'catches up'...

Manual leveling - best I found was:
- lower front till touching
- lower rear till touching
- follow the arrows for the rest.
