Battery location

I appreciate cleaning the battery comments but my problem is getting to the battery. I have a 2016 Thor Vegas, battery is located on passenger side up under the dashboard under where there is a place to use a computer .. do any of you have any suggestions how to make the battery compartment accessible on the chassis of the Ford. Impossible to get to the battery much less check water level, thank you for your help !!

Some of us added a battery watering system which makes it easy to maintain the proper levels. These are available at Amazon and other places.

I also added the battery watering system and it is a must in the Axis. I just changed out the battery in my 2016 Axis by taking off the passenger desk and cutting out the dashboard. At least in the 2016, Thor has made the cut for you so it is quite easy to cut the remaining four tabs and through the insulation. Even then it is a long reach down to the battery and Thor - to increase the degree of difficulty - removed the battery lifting strap so I had to purchase a new one and attach it to the battery before I could perform the heavy lift. My 2016 has wheel wells. So it would have been more difficult to take them off and then try to like the battery thru that opening than cut the dashboard. It also gave me the excuse to add more insulation material in the engine compartment on the passenger side.
