What is a safe water level to keep the coach batteries at? Thank you

Depending on the battery it is generally somewhere around 1/4 to 1/2 below the filler cap. It should cover the plates but be low enough so it doesn't ooze out when putting the cap back on.

I installed these on my batteries (coach and house) over a year ago and it makes it real easy to add water.

Posting a little late but just in case, make sure you only fill your batteries after they have been charged. The water level will rise when they are warm and if you have overfilled them cold you will loose acid while they charge and you cant get that back. If they appear low when you check them just fill enough to cover the plates then charge them and recheck the level. Some batteries have a line on the outside that indicates the proper fill and some have a plastic ring inside the cell that indicates the fill level. If you slightly overfill them when hot you will not do any permanent damage as long as you dont fill them to the top. You just water down the acid concentration and that cell will have a slightly low specific gravity until the water evaporates, if you overfill when cold and some of the water acid mix leaks out when charging that cell will be permanently low. You could drain the acid and refill with the proper acid mix but that is dangerous and you would have to have the factory spec for acid concentration.
Hope this helps.
