Dog Shower and Footwash

Has anyone replaced the outside shower or have any ideas as to how to gain access in the removal of the fixture for replacement on the Axis or Vegas?

I've not done it, but I have seen the fixtures for sale.
Looks like a fairly easy surface mounted thing
Amazon.com: outside shower for rv

Why do you want to replace?

Thanks. I already have the new fixture and I have to figure out how to get at it from the back to disconnect the water lines so it will slide out from the front. There's a wood panel underneath the commode that may come off for access but not sure.

When Thor installed it, they had the hose to the shower head all kinked up inside the wall and when I gave it a firm pull, it snapped the hose off at the fixture. Tried glue on it but since it snapped off flush with the fixture, glue and plumbing putty didn't hold.

Not at home now, so looks like it will be a weekend project.

I have to crawl under the drawers next to the sink in order to access mine on the Hurricane. To make more room you will need to remove the drawers and the wood between the drawers to allow you to crawl in. The drawers are easy to remove as are the wood - use a square bit screwdriver (we call them Robertson in Canada). The two screws come right out and replace just as easy.

Thanks. The configuration on mine puts it above the black tank underneath which makes it non accessible from there and near the commode. There's a baseboard below there which may give me enough room to get to it. Praying I don't have to open it up from the outside.

bummer.
Mine is a different model coach, but I was looking at my lav drain piping the other day. Enclosed under the toilet and impossible to see. Probably similar to your situation.

Food for thought, but it might be easier to trace the supply line for the shower back to where you can get at it, and fish a new line through from there.... or cap it off and fish from a different direction....

Look around, the water line diagram has been posted on here for the 24.1. I'd re upload it to this thread but I'm on vacation and don't have access to the file.

I've not found any access from inside the coach to the rear of the fixture. The only option I can figure is to remove it from the outside by breaking the seal, etc. Then it will be a gamble if there is enough length of supply lines to remove them.
I've patched it up again with some Gorilla glue and clear silicone with hope that it'll stay tight. If not, I'll take it in to the pros and let them tackle it.
Thanks for the replies. Much appreciated.
Enjoy your vacation, Jamie.
