Captain Chair Armrest

From what I have read the armrest will come off if turned straight up and pulled out, never needed to try this. Problem is with the passenger seat the arm rest started to droop down to the seat. Then it just pulled out and has no visable way to be held in. Just has a cross hole that goes part way through the pin that slides into the seat back. Anyone have this problem or an idea on how to fix? Thanks, Jim.

Same issues here from new. Mine are Ford factory manual reclining seats. Haven't addressed it yet but did let Ford look at it once at the dealership. He folded the seat all the way forward, reached underneath seat from the back and the "cover" for the back of the seat is velcro'd. He loosened it and folded it upward, allowing his hands to run underneath, up to the area where the armrest goes in. I'm guessing there's some type of retainer ring under there. Your post has encouraged me to go back now and finish this issue. It hasn't been too much of problem for me as my Lab likes to sit between the front seats...first thing she does is put her nose under the armrest and fold it up so she can use my lap for a pillow. Kinda funny...a few times when she was in the back, I would fold the armrest down...she would come up there, push it back up and then head to the back again. I quickly realized it wasn't my MH...I bought it for her.

Driver Arm Rest adjustment

I have a 2019 Miramar and need advice on how to get the two armrests in the same position. The left side is lower than the right side.

Thanks

Mine were like that until I realized they were upside down. The armrests were put on the wrong side so they were upside down. I removed them and switched sides. Now they are on even

To remove them lift them up until it stops. Push hard on the armrest were to pivots while pushing it backwards. When you can move it backwards keep going until you can pull it out

What made you realize they were upside down? I have the same issue.

While driving on a trip I looked at the passenger chair and saw the tops of the armrest, longer on top and shorter on the bottom. Looked at mine and it was opposite. Light bulb went off in my under developed head. Switched the armrests and all is good now

I checked mine today. All of them are installed correctly. Is there an adjustment I can make to get them where I want them?

My armrests appear to be correct for each side but one side is lower than the other and I can not figure out how to adjust. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bill

If you put your fingers in the zip at the pivot point, you'll find a nut. Simply turn that nut until the height of the arm rest is where you want it. I have not investigated if there is also supposed to be a jam nut to keep it there, as I have to adjust them almost every trip we take.

Mine are still flipped over backwards like a dead fish...I guess I'll have to re-re-address this now.
