Challenger Wiper problems
Driving down to Alvarado this morning for a repair to a small shower leak. Decided to hit the wipers to clean the windshield, and boom! they hung up - again! I had this in a local shop earlier and thought they fixed the problem, but nope. Maintenance went under the hood, and they found the Z shaped piece is out of alignment, and too low, causing the nut on the bottom to hit the screwhead, throwing the oscillating motion off kilter. Also the rubber grommets had deteriorated due to the stress on the joint. Tech says this has also screwed up the internal connections to the motor. New wiper assembly going in tomorrow.
