chassis batteries dead, 2015 four winds diesel

My motor home is in storage, but it is on shore power, battery switch has been in the use position, but my chassis batteries are dead, im going to replace them with maintenace free batteries anyways, but shouldnt they be charged by the converter/charger? The house batteries i replaced with blue optimas and they are staying charged. 2015 fourwinds powerstroke

Yes they SHOULD all be charged - if all is working properly...
Depending on the rig (even varies within the same model) - you should have either a BIRD/Trombetta or Battery Control Center that handles the charging of both sets of batteries from any of engine, shore power, generator.
