KC,

The pro that detailed my Challenger used Spray 9.

Water hose of course, Simple Green (probably the most commonly used product), and a medium bristled brush preferably with a long handle. Wet the roof then be careful because it does get slippery, spray on SG, scrub and rinse doing a section at a time. Be careful around caulking and it's a good time to check your caulking while you're up there

I have scrubbed mine with spic and span
with laundry detergent
and with barkeepers friend once

It sortof depends on what the dirt is that is on it, to select the best cleaner. Greasy stuff might require a degreaser while plain old soap will work well for plain old dirt.... like that...

I just have always used any unscented cheap dish soap. I don't try to take a bucket and all that up on the roof, just the hose, my long handled brush, and squirt bottle of soap. Also, I only do my roof maybe twice a year and that is just to cut down on black streaks running down the side of my coach.

What I do pay attention to is my plastic vent and air conditioner covers. I clean and then coat them with 303 protectant 4 or 5 times a year.
