Coach Battery not charging

Hello,
On my 2004 Hurricane 31K, when on shore power I think the coach batteries
should be getting a charge. When they are NOT getting that upkeep charge,
where should I look? Or is there nothing that charges when the engine is not
running?
I also want to thank the wonderful folks here for all the great advise in the past. It has helped this beginner a whole lot.
Thank you all,
Chuck Peck in CasaLoca

Simple question first -- is the Use/Store switch in USE. House batteries will not charge when in Store.

Do you have a converter (with the charger) or do you have an inverter (with the charger)?

Look near the batteries -- do you see a disconnect that looks like the square device mounted to the wall and circled? Can you see a yellow flag sticking out? If so, the disconnect is tripped -- reset it.

If you have a GFI in the bathroom, double check. That was the problem on my Windsport.

Those are all good things to look at first. If they do not work check the voltage at the two terminals of your Trombetta.
See Thor Forums > Thor Tech Forums > Motorhome Tech Topics > Auxiliary Battery Switch.

If you do not get the same reading on both terminals while on shore power, there may be something wrong with your BIRD or Trombetta.

Do you still have the problem?

If not, what was the solution?
