Coach Battery Problem

I just replaced the House Battery in my motorhome and it does not appear to be working. Seemed simple enough to disconnect the old and then replace with the new....but as usual for me, it's never easy!

Not sure if there was something I missed and I have checked the fuses.

Any suggestions?

So the battery is good, fuses are good and poles are hooked correctly.... still does not power anything. The Coach battery disconnect switch also does not engage. I do have power when plugged or when the generator is on. Just nothing from the battery....Is there some other switch I could be missing?

There may be a switch in the battery compartment. From reading posts here, it is easy to press when replacing the house battery.

Yes I have been reading up on this problem for some time now. Any idea where the Battery Control Center is in a 2012 Thor Four Winds Class C? The fuse box is under the dining table and I did not see switches there.

MJD202,

Doc here. The battery box in our Vegas 24.1 is under the step. Wedged in there on the rear wall is a little switch that gets bumped and will trip (sometimes it seems just to trip by itself. Use the search option this Forum for "House batteries" and look in the various comments with the Vegas/Axis people...someone posted a picture of what it looks like.

Doc
