Lubricating Entry Step

What’s the best way to lubricate the entry step on my ACE? I’m pretty sure the manual says something about it, but I’m in my recliner at present, and am feeling far too lazy to go outside to get my manual. I’ll probably get around to reading it at some point if y’all don’t answer.

I use spray Lithium grease on all the connections where parts move. Do it every couple of months.

You can spray with just about any kind of lubricant other than WD40. I personally use CRC 11 oz Aerosol Nondrying Film Penetrant/Lubricant. The only issue with most greases is they tend to attract dirt. I'm sure they all do the job though. Again stay away from WD40...it is a cleaner, not a lubricant and extended use will dry out areas you are trying to lubricate.

This works for everything...door and hood hinges, bay door piano hinges,...dry and doesn't attract dirt or dust. I've used it on the Kubotas for years as it runs in dirt all the time.

I need to correct my previous post...that is the CRC product I use as well. I pulled the description from the internet and got the wrong one. I agree, I use it everywhere...even my door latch since it leaves no greasy residue.

Actually your post was spot on...I didn't read it close enough or I would have just given a "thumbs up". Dry graphite grease is the bomb, it sticks and stays in place!! It's not a high-pressure grease but that's not what the OP was asking.
