Cracked windshield on 2017 vegas

On our trip back from fl a crack appeared at the bottom nothing hit it there's no impact point it just cracked now thor won't respond until the warranty runs out

There have been some reported here cracking from stress and replaced under warranty. Thor should make good on it. Do a search on the forum and you will find info. Be persistent in calling. I'm sure others will comment also.

My windshield cracked from small stone or something and replaced, but not under warranty. Never knew it was cracked until parked in campground. It does not take much to crack those big bubbles.

side track story:
one time driving in a little car on an interstate, a rather big stone...like large gravel size...fell off a truck in front of me and bounced up. I saw it since before the bounce and saw it coming. it was clearly coming for my head.... looked like a boulder...so much so that I reflex ducked down behind the wheel and dash. Sounded like someone hit the windshield hard with a baseball bat.
Not a crack...the only mark was a little chip in the glass surface about the size of a grain of sand. I drove that car a long time and it never cracked from that chip. It was a different hit, in a completely different area taht broke the windshield enough to force replacement

Another time, with the new windshield I think, or maybe it was even before the boulder strike (memory is fuzzy)...Anyway, I heard a little tink sound, like you would behind a truck with sand blowing off it. Just barely a sound at all, like one large grain of sand...or like a bug hitting the windshield... and I never saw a thing so it was small.... And I noticed a small crack a couple inches long up near the mirror. As my trip continued over the next couple hours, in the sun, the crack was just a bit longer every time I'd look at it. In a few hours time it ran nearly to the bottom of the glass.

How much does a big class A windshield cost? And can an auto glass place order one and install it? Mine has never broken but I’ve wondered.

Do you mean they are delaying until the warranty expires? Call Thor warranty again and demand a replacement. Our 2016 with the taller window cracked and Thor replaced it under warranty. The cost was north of $3K.

It took a long time, as the window was made to order, then they must shipped by oxcart to the dealer that replaced it. Shipping took a long time. It only took the dealer about 3 days, but my closest dealer refused to do the repair.

We have an Axis with the extra big windshield as well. In Florida, windshields are covered with no deductibles. I just called my insurance to confirm I was covered.
